SEKOS develops life-saving medical products for combat soliders. DesignDesign was asked to provide a compact configuration for their ventilator concept, as well as a unique manifold and integrated enclosure for the science. Instead of using compressed gas, the unit delivers ambient air to injured soldiers for 5+ hours on a single battery charge.

Featured at DARPATech, it was named one of the Top 4 Breakthrough Medical Devices by Popular Mechanics (August 2007).
